The Port Douglas Reef Raiders Rugby Union Club are celebrating with star layer Dereck Letcher this week for leading the Queensland Country Heelers to victory in the 2025 Australian Rugby Shield Grand Final at the weekend.
Dereck’s Queensland Country Heelers side defeated NSW Country in Newcastle to claim the title.
“It is a huge achievement, well done Dereck,’’ posted the Reef Raiders after the victory with others jumping in to congratulate the star player and captain of the Heelers team.
