Port Douglas’s markets have been busy in the past fortnight as the town comes alive for peak tourist season.
Markets are held every Sunday on the waterfront at the end of Macrosson Street and every Wednesday at the marina.
And Douglas Shire Council held a ceremony yesterday (Thursday, June 19) to welcome new citizens to the district.
